Hi everyone!
FIRST OFFICIAL DAY IN ECUADOR!!! Our flight was delayed a couple hours and so we didn't make it to Quito until night time. The plane was soooo nice and we got a full meal with free games/movies/shows on their entertainment system. Instead of one aisle, there were 2 aisles!! Today was our first ministry day and we performed our drama at a park. I got to play pato pato gonzo (duck duck goose), freeze tag, and red light green light with the kids there. Some kids accepted Jesus in their hearts today which was really cool. Ecuadorians are very friendly. It is different from Guatemala. In Guatemala last year, we couldn't flush our toilet paper due to lack of good sewage system or brush our teeth with their water. In Ecuador, we can do all of those. Also the people here dress kind of like how we dress in America whereas in Guatemala, the majority of people there wear traditional clothing. Also, the roads here are better and more people have cars. The mountains here are beautiful and we can see them from where we're staying at. We are now back at the hotel early because there is still another group of people from our trip who aren't here yet because they were delayed. I can't wait to have more and longer ministry days. I guess today is a day where we kind of ease into it haha. Internet here is kind of expensive, meaning that I won't get that much time on the computers. Well that's all that's happened for now. Thanks for reading my posts!
Sincerely,
the frogger blogger (my roomies made me put this because i blogged on here wearing my PJ's in Miami)
